Ron Levy

Dr. Ron Levy graduated from Queen’s University in 2005 and then completed residency training in neurosurgery at the University of Calgary. In 2011-12 he was a Clinical Fellow in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery at Toronto Western Hospital. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Queen’s University, Kingston. He studies the behavioural and electrophysiological changes that occur in the neurological diseases of Parkinson’s disease and epilepsy. He conducts clinical research in patients with Parkinson’s disease and basic science research non-human primate models. His goal is to develop novel methods of electrical stimulation to improve the symptoms and modify the natural history of these diseases.
