Conference Highlights
The Innovation Fund Showcase will bring together Academic Physicians, Health Care Leaders, Government Leaders and Institutional Administrators for one day to discuss new approaches to health care delivery in Ontario. In addition, the Showcase will highlight 80 of the best Innovation Fund research projects that have the demonstrated potential to transform health care delivery in the Province.
The event will feature keynote speaker David Naylor to speak about the theme – Innovation, Integration and Implementation. Deputy Minister of Health and Long-Term Care Robert Bell, Ontario Medical Association President Virginia Walley and AFP Chair Barry Rubin will provide opening remarks.
A Round Table Session will discuss how individual project leaders and health system funding partners can assist projects to successfully move from innovative ideas to working and implemented solutions province-wide.
The conference will include 8 panel sessions made up of experts discussing key themes and related challenges.
Awards will be given out to best, most innovative, and most promising project showcased in each of these 8 categories.
Come and take part in this one-day event to network and explore how Ontario’s Academic Physicians are innovating to deliver better heath care to Ontarians.
