AREA OF RESEARCH

Dr. McIntyre studies health service delivery across the care continuum with aims to enhance organization, accessibility, quality, and effectiveness. She has specific expertise in emergency and rehabilitation settings where she investigates patients’ unique traits, their needs, access, and use of health resources with the goal of improved health outcomes.

MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO SCIENCE AND/OR HEALTH CARE DELIVERY

Since 2012 Dr. McIntyre has authored 84 peer-reviewed articles and over 85 published abstracts (h-index = 27). She has contributed to several national and international best practice guideline development groups for stroke, spinal cord injury, and acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
