Dr. Kenneth Schwartz completed a psychiatry residency at the University of Toronto and a Fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the Bowman Centre in Chicago. He is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. For many years he has worked at the Baycrest Psychiatric Day Hospital and Apotex. He has presented at many national and international conferences, and has published extensively on the topics of group therapy, sexuality and depression. Most recently, his focus is on supporting family members and long term care staff caring for individuals with dementia both at home and in long term care settings.
