My work is on the health of francophone minorities- health services and mental health services for francophone minorities.
I hold a research chair « du monde francophone » from the university of Ottawa on the health status of francophone immigrants and refugees from sub saharan Africa – with presently research projects on perinatal health, post partum depression and mental health status of francophone black immigrants

MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO SCIENCE AND/OR HEALTH CARE DELIVERY

A project on detection, prevention, and management of mood disorders and trauma following a cardiac event in men. We have tested the feasibility and acceptabilty of the stepped care program and awaiting scaling up at the Montfort Hospital – we were hindered by the COVID pandemic

A telehealth stepped care model for anxiety and depression for the francophone minority in Ontario will start in August 2023
