Access to services for minorities – health services for francophones and mental health services for minorities. Innovation in health technologies and services (AI and Digital Health)
Researcher at ISM and Lecturer at uOttawa, research on qualiy improvement in Healthcare. Current research: Detection of COVID19 using AI, AI and Repeat visits in Emergency, COVID19 and Mental healh Services, Cardiovascular risks for Francophones using CT Cardiac, Perinatal health for black francophones women.

MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO SCIENCE AND/OR HEALTH CARE DELIVERY

Having designed and tested on ED patients a Symptoms Self Triage mobile App, validated with clinician specialists, It provides recommendations to patients on where to seek appropriate medical care (i.e. Emergency Room, Family practice/ Walking Clinic, or Self-care/Pharmacy). Showcased on Innovation Funds in October 2018.
Clinical validation of an AI Algorithm developped by uMoncton using Deep Learning to detecte COVID19 in Chest Xrays, with more than 98% accuracy, showcased in Health Analytics Summit in USA 2021.
