His research focus lies in prospective study design, systematic review methods, and guideline development. He is a panel member for the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s Clinical Practice Guidelines on the use of ultrasound in septic shock patients. He is also leading several research programs, including an international, multicenter observational study evaluating the impact of venous congestion on renal outcomes in patients with septic shock.
