AREA OF RESEARCH

My research focuses on children with neuomuscular conditions and evaluating how clinicians can ensure we are attending to the human aspects of care and develop the skills children need to transition to adulthood. I am leading and collaborating on several research projects focusing on the human aspects of care within the clinic setting and the impact of a coaching strategy to address their needs, development self -determination skills and the experiences of youth with respect to bullying.
