Nicole Etherington is a Senior Research Associate in the Clinical Epidemiology Program at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute (OHIR). Dr. Etherington completed her PhD in sociology at the University of Western Ontario in 2016, with a focus on health inequality. Dr. Etherington’s current research applies a social lens to clinical practice issues, focusing primarily on the multi-level factors shaping teamwork, provider occupational well-being, and patient outcomes in acute care.
