MAJOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO SCIENCE AND/OR HEALTH CARE DELIVERY
I provide acute and primary care in fly-in communities in North West Ontario. I have had the privilege of being the community physician for Webequie First Nations since 2017. As Northern Practice Coordinator I am involved in Quality Improvement throughout the region. I have been able to lead regional quality improvement projects on Diabetes in Pregnancy and Anemia in Pregnancy. Our next step is to develop better standards for Opiod Substitution Programs.
