Steven Papp, MD, FRCSC
SPECIALTY AND TITLE
Orthopaedic Surgeon, Division Head of Orthopaedic Surgery
The Ottawa Hospital
Associate Professor, University of Ottawa
AREA OF RESEARCH
My area of research is orthopaedic surgery with a focus on trauma and upper extremity. Through research, I seek to optimize hip fracture patient care by assessing barriers associated with bridging acute care with long-term care and rehabilitation, exploring the use of indwelling versus intermittent catheters, and reconciling current clinical guidelines around hip fracture care with actual practice.
