Dr. McCluskey an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesia and Pain Management at the University of Toronto, and a Staff Anesthesiologist at the Toronto General Hospital, University Health Network.  He is a Clinical Investigator at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute and is the Anesthesia Director for the Abdominal Organ Transplantation Program.  In addition, he is the Medical Director of the Surgical Blood Management Program and his research interests include methods to improve preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative management and optimizing postoperative outcomes.  He has generated over 100 publication and is actively involved in numerous multicenter trails.
