Dr. Sylvain Boet is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa in the departments of Anesthesiology and Innovation in Medical Education, a Staff Anesthesiologist at the Ottawa Hospital, and an Associate Scientist at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute. In addition to holding a PhD in Education, Sylvain trained in anesthesiology and intensive care in France, and since 2005 has completed a simulation and medical education fellowship at the University of Toronto. He is currently bringing the results of his research to the bedside to improve patient outcomes using knowledge translation strategies.
