Dr. Mark Campbell
Dr. Mark Campbell completed his undergraduate degree in science at McMaster University in 2003, then medical school at the University of Toronto in 2007. He then went on to complete his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and his Masters of Science at the University of Ottawa in 2012. He spent a further year in Leeds, UK during his Fellowship in basic science and translational research in the field of osteoarthritis. Dr. Campbell is a clinician-investigator and assistant professor at the University of Ottawa. His research is in the field of joint contracture and osteoarthritis (OA), one of the world’s fastest growing chronic conditions. By using a variety of approaches, including cell-based experiments, animal models and clinical interventions, Dr. Campbell’s team seeks new insights into the pathophysiology and treatment of joint contractures and OA.
